Who Is This Programme For?
This is for you if
- ✓ You hold a B.E./B.Tech in CS, IT, ECE, or EEE
- ✓ You are a fresh graduate or have 0–2 years of experience
- ✓ N5 Japanese is optional but preferred; beginners welcome
- ✓ You want a Japan IT career, not just a domestic job

Module 01
Japanese Language Track
Six months of structured Japanese study, progressing from N5 through to full N4 completion with a native Japanese trainer.
N5 Revision → N4 Grammar
- ✓ Hiragana, Katakana, basic Kanji review
- ✓ N4 grammar patterns and sentence structures
- ✓ Everyday conversation and listening drills
N4 Completion + JLPT Prep
- ✓ N4 vocabulary and reading comprehension
- ✓ Business Japanese and workplace communication

Module 02
IT Skills Track
Choose one specialist track aligned to your target role in Japan. Three months of focused, hands-on technical training.
Fullstack Development
- ✓ HTML / CSS / JavaScript fundamentals
- ✓ React basics and component architecture
- ✓ Node.js + Express REST APIs
- ✓ MySQL database design and queries
QA Testing
- ✓ Manual testing methodology and test case design
- ✓ Selenium basics and browser automation

Data Analytics
- ✓ Excel advanced (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)

Module 03
Japan Internship — 3 Months Live in Japan
On completing Modules 1 and 2, eligible students are placed in a 3-month structured internship at a NEX-GEN partner company in Japan.
Internship Roles
Software developer, QA engineer, data analyst, or IT support — matched to your track.
Paid Opportunity
Internship stipend provided through NEX-GEN partner companies. Subject to partner terms.
Full Support Package
Visa guidance, accommodation support, airport pickup, and a dedicated Japanese mentor.
Path to Full-Time
High-performing interns are fast-tracked for full-time roles via the NEX-GEN Japan network.
* Internship placement is subject to performance in Modules 1 and 2 and partner company availability. NEX-GEN Corporation, Tokyo, coordinates all Japan placements.

Common Questions
Do I need Japanese experience to join?
+No. The programme starts from scratch. We cover N5 basics in the first month before progressing to N4. Students with existing N5 certification move through the early modules faster.
Is the internship paid?
+Yes. NEX-GEN partner companies provide a stipend for internship participants. The exact amount depends on the placement company and role. Details are shared during counselling.
What happens if I do not reach N4 level?
+We provide extended support and additional sessions for students who need more time. Internship placement is assessed on overall readiness, not solely on JLPT exam results. Our trainers work closely with every student.
Can I apply for permanent Japan jobs after the internship?
+Yes. Many students convert to full-time roles with their placement company or transition to other Japan employers via the NEX-GEN network. The internship completion certificate and Japan work experience significantly strengthen your application.
Is this programme only for students in Coimbatore?
+No. The language and IT modules are available online for students across India. Our campus is in Coimbatore but we accept students from any Indian state. The Japan internship phase requires you to relocate to Japan for 3 months.
